The President of the English Division Student Government is responsible for representing the interests and concerns of the English Division student body within the Medical University of Warsaw, as well as coordinating the EDSG team.​

They are to keep up-to-date with all introduced changes and communicate the needs of the student body with university administration. They are to attend faculty assemblies and other meetings where various matters concerning our education are discussed.

In addition, the President ensures effective communication between EDSG and members of the Polish Student Government (Samorząd Studentów WUM) and aids the Secretary in the translation of any documents needed.

The Vice President is responsible for assisting with all projects occurring within the EDSG and seeking feedback from students on what can be improved.

The Vice President is the EDSG representative in the Student Council and the main contact between EDSG and the Class Representatives.

The Vice President is also to undertake any of the President's duties when they are unable to do so.

The Vice President also represents the interests of the Dentistry Faculty students ensuring their views are heard and addressed by the EDSG.

The Secretary is responsible for taking the minutes at all EDSG meetings and ensuring that these are made available to students. They are also responsible for managing the EDSG email and forwarding queries on to the relevant member. They are also responsible for the application, management and distribution of any funds that are obtained by the EDSG. They are to keep a record of all transactions.

The Secretary also helps out the Social Media Coordinator in running various platforms.

The Student Rights Representative is responsible for the upholding of the university honor code. They serve the student body with the representation of their university rights, ensuring fair conduct.

They are also responsible for attending commission exams throughout the year and, when unable to do so, a member of the Executive Branch of EDSG should do so.

Any student experiencing grievances regarding the way they are treated at the university or unfair conditions within courses should contact the Student Rights Representative, so that any problems can be addressed.

The Academic Affairs Coordinator is responsible for consulting the Deans Office regarding problems that may arise pertaining to academics. 

Their responsibility is to manage the scheduling of examinations, consult with students on their preferred choice of summer placements as well as for-see any issues with the mandatory optional courses throughout the year. ​

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for student engagement and engagement with external organizations. They are also responsible for coordinating the Instagram takeovers.

Their responsibility is to make the posts you see on the EDSG Facebook and Instagram pages and answer your questions or forward them on to the relevant representative. They are also responsible for keeping the website up to date and to make alterations when needed.

Please be patient when messaging our social media channels, as we often get a high volume of messages (especially before classes start in October) or we need to consult additional individuals before providing an answer.

The role of the Event Coordinators is to create fun events which are all-inclusive and encourage you to get to know your fellow students. These events can be social in nature, or have an educational purpose – particularly in ensuring that club events are advertised to the student body.

The primary events organized by the Event Coordinators include, but are not limited to:

• Orientation Week

• Graduation for Medical Students

• Social Events throughout the year including Halloween and Diwali

We are always keen to collaborate with the student body or other student organizations to promote their events and to get the most out of our university experience in Warsaw. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to get involved or have an idea for an event.

They are also responsible for connecting the students to the wider community. They organize donations and volunteer works for the students and are responsible for integrating students with projects and organizations outside of our University.
