Class Representatives

The class representative takes care of various matters at the university on behalf of the year. The class representative is elected by students of the year at the beginning of the year. 

Some of his/her duties include: 

• Attending pedagogical council meetings and meetings with the EDSG/Dean’s Office
• Contacting teachers and departments
• Representing and advocating the interests of the year
• Working with group representatives
• Communicating with EDSG regarding any issues a class may be having

It is recommended that each group nominate a group representative (who has similar tasks as a class representative, but represents a dean’s group) who will communicate with the class representative.​

Class representatives are overseen by EDSG and meetings with the Dean’s Office will try to be held at least once a month.

University Students' Parliament (Uczelniany Parlament Studentów)

The University Students' Parliament (Uczelniany Parlament Studentów) is the highest legislative body of the local government structures. The Parliament is composed of representatives of all faculties, elected in general elections, as well as the Chairperson of the Student Self-Government and the Chairperson of Faculty Self-Government Boards. Parliament meetings are convened at least twice a semester. The session is chaired by the Marshal, elected from among its members for a two-year term. 

Each faculty has a specified amount of seats based on student numbers. Students interested representing ED in the University Students' Parliament must understand and speak Polish fluently as all meetings are held in Polish.
