The Online Recruitment System (ORS) is the only way to register and apply to the Medical University of Warsaw 6-year Medicine Program in English. We do not accept any other form of application.
You must fill out your ORS application with information and documents throughout the application process. So, don’t miss a step and register before the deadline!
The Online Recruitment System is the University’s means of communication with the Candidate.
All the information on the Candidate’s online account or emails sent to the Candidate’s address shall be deemed given and binding. Therefore, the Candidate is responsible for checking their online application and emails. Admission results will appear only on the Candidate’s online account.
Admission results will be available around 14 workdays after the competency test session.
The Board processes applications of UCAT/BMAT/MCAT/GAMSAT/HPAT and BSc/MSc Diploma holders every 7-14 days.
Please note that it might take longer if the Admission Board is busy.
The Admission Board considers only paid applications.
Note: The University is committed to personal data protection and will not disclose any information by phone or third parties. The University is not responsible for the incorrectly completed application.
What are the statuses in the ORS?
Initially, each candidate has a “no decision" status.
Based on the competency test results OR the UCAT/BMAT/MCAT/GAMSAT/HPAT score OR university GPA, the Admission Board will qualify each candidate.
Status in ORS may change as follows:
“Qualified, Place confirmation" – The Admission Board is waiting for you to confirm your place at the university and pay the confirmation fee. You have seven days to do this. You will receive instructions on how to confirm your place. Confirmation fee (400 EUR) is part of the tuition fee and is non-refundable.
Payment of the confirmation fee means confirmation of the place, but the candidate must complete further university admission procedures. If they do not complete these procedures by the Admission Board's deadline, their application is closed (status: Resignation), but the confirmation fee is not refunded.
“Qualified, Place is confirmed" – You have confirmed your place. You will be given templates of the documents to be completed and guidelines on preparing the Admission File. The Admission Board will also give you a deadline by which you must submit your documents. You usually have 30 days to prepare the Admission File.
Please note – each qualified candidate must send the Admission File to Warsaw by the deadline to secure the place.
“Accepted" – The Admission Board has received and accepted your Admission File. You are entered on the student list.
“Main Waiting List" – Unfortunately, you did not do as well as the other candidates. It is why you have been transferred to the main waiting list. While you are on the waiting list, there is still a possibility that you may be offered a place at the university. You have to wait for further instructions.
“Second Waiting List" – Unfortunately, you did not do as well as the other candidates. It is why you have been transferred to the second waiting list. Your chances of being offered a place are relatively small, considering your ranking points and the number of places available. You have to wait for further instructions.
“Not accepted" – Your application was rejected. You can only apply again in the next academic year’s recruitment.
“Resignation" – Status may be used in two situations:
- The candidate has decided not to participate in further recruitment and has written an email to the Admission Board. Note: the candidate can independently resign from applying at any stage of recruitment, including after obtaining the status “Accepted”.
- The candidate did not complete the required recruitment steps by the deadline set by the Admission Board; for example, they did not complete the application, did not pay the application/confirmation fee, did not sit the competency test, did not send the Admission File by the deadline, etc.
