In accordance with the study plan, 6th year students are obliged to complete 180 h of the specialty chosen by the student. 

Required number of hours and ECTS points:
6 weeks – 180h – 12 ECTS points

Students may ask for Dean’s permission to complete the specialty outside of the allotted time in the University in accordance with the rules and conditions.

Documents required to acquire Dean’s permission for early specialty completion:
1.    Syllabus of the specialty signed by the hospital/facility they wish to complete the specialty in
2.    Application addressed to the Dean asking for permission to complete the specialty early – must contain a reason why it is required and specific dates when the specialty will be done

Students who wish to complete the elective in one of the hospitals/facilities affiliated with WUM are additionally required to have the specialty agreement signed by the institution in question.

After successful completion of the specialty outside of WUM, the student must deliver the original specialty completion form to the Dean’s Office.
