On 27 October 2026, the Medical University of Warsaw welcomed a delegation from Global Education Ministry / Global Vision Christian School (GEM–GVCS), Republic of Korea. The visit marked a new step in educational cooperation between the two institutions, formalised through a Memorandum of Agreement.
The delegation comprised Mr Jean Seok Nam, President of GEM–GVCS; Mr Joshua Kang, Principal of GVCS Mungyeong Campus; Mr Moses Moon, Principal of GVCS Eumseong Campus; and Ms Haeyoung Jang, Director of International Affairs. The guests met with Prof. Paweł Włodarski, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Assoc. Prof. Jacek Sieńko, Deputy Dean for the English Division.
The agreement, signed by Prof. Rafał Krenke, Rector of the Medical University of Warsaw, and Mr Jean Seok Nam, establishes a framework for educational cooperation and support for qualified GVCS students interested in pursuing medical studies at WUM.
Areas of cooperation include admissions guidance, information sessions for prospective students, parents and teaching staff, and support for academic and language preparation for medical studies. The agreement also provides for mutually arranged campus visits and the exchange of educational information. All prospective students will remain subject to the University’s standard admission requirements and selection procedures.
The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen institutional relations and establish a foundation for future cooperation. Through this partnership, WUM and GEM–GVCS aim to help aspiring medical students make informed educational choices and prepare for studying in an international academic environment.
