On 8 June 2026, the Medical University of Warsaw (WUM) will host the international scientific conference “Cancer in 2026: From Diagnosis to Reconstruction”, a multidisciplinary event dedicated to exploring the full clinical journey of cancer patients — from diagnosis to recovery and reconstruction.

The conference will take place at the WUM Didactic Centre (Aula A/B) between 14:00 and 19:00, offering a free, high-quality educational programme conducted in both English and Polish. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance. 

A Comprehensive Approach to Modern Oncology

This conference aims to highlight the importance of an integrated, patient-centred approach to oncology.

The programme will cover key areas of contemporary cancer care, including:

• molecular diagnostics and personalised medicine
• immunotherapy and innovative treatments such as CAR‑T therapy
• surgical oncology and breast cancer management
• dermato-oncology and cardio-oncology
• reconstructive and plastic surgery
• survivorship and long-term patient support

By bringing together multiple medical disciplines, the event promotes a holistic understanding of cancer treatment pathways and reinforces the importance of collaboration across specialties.
