Dear Students and Graduates,
At your request, we are organizing a special information session with Mr. Marek Szewczyński, attorney-at-law at the Polish Supreme Chamber of Physicians and Dentists (Naczelna Izba Lekarska). This meeting is designed to provide you with essential knowledge about the next steps after completing your medical studies.
As you all know, graduating from the Faculty of Medicine and receiving your diploma is a major achievement—but it is also just the beginning of your professional journey.
What comes next? What are the basic legal obligations? What steps should you take, and when?
During the session, Mr. Szewczyński will guide you through:
• The formal requirements and procedures after graduation
• Steps to obtain your medical license in Poland (PWZ)
• Main rules related to the system of recognition of qualifications within the EU
• Postgraduate internship regulations (where applicable); LEK exam
• Certain legal aspects of beginning and pursuing your medical career in Poland and abroad
This is a unique opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity on your professional future directly from a legal expert working closely with the medical profession.
We warmly encourage all final-year students and recent graduates to attend.
The online meeting was held on Microsoft Teams on 24th July at 3pm (Polish time).
The link to the meeting is here.
Your future as a doctor doesn’t start with your diploma—it starts with knowing what to do next.
We look forward to seeing you there!
