The Diversity x WUM project was established to promote diversity and strengthen cross-cultural connections within the university community. Nearly 800 international students from over 70 countries currently study at the university, enriching its vibrant and multicultural environment.
The initiative was launched by international students who wanted to share their cultures with a wider audience. With the support of the university authorities, they created the Diversity Festival – a two-day event open to members of the academic community.
During the festival, international students share their traditions, customs, and cultural heritage, offering the university community and residents of Warsaw a unique opportunity to experience cultures from around the world. The third edition of the event took place in May 2025, and preparations are already underway for the fourth edition of the Diversity Festival, planned for May 2026.
