Library

The Main Library is located on the Banacha campus at ul. Żwirki i Wigury 63 and is accessible for students with disabilities. Opening times are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

There are over 100 computer work stations, including 10 Mac computers, as well as individual and group study rooms.  Wi-Fi access is available in the entire building.

The Main Library also provides access to Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy  which has more  than 300 video clips of real human anatomic specimens in their natural colors.

All first year students receive training in how to use the library information system and are required to pass an online test.

MUW’s Main Library services include an Information Desk, a Lending Library, a Self-Service Lending Library and an Interlibrary Loan Desk.

The Library holds a print collection of more than 300,000 volumes and current issues of  344 Polish and international journals.

Students have access to an electronic collection of over 27,000  international e-journals, more than 28,000 e-books like Elsevier books via Clinical Key platform.

The city of Warsaw has many more academic, public and national libraries. The University of Warsaw  Library  is particularly popular among students.
