Qualifying for the competency test
1. The candidate selects the competency test date in the application.
Approximately 14 days before the exam, the Admission Board begins qualifying for the competency test.
Check your inbox regularly, especially during the two weeks prior to your chosen competency test date.
2. The Admission Board reviews your application in the Online Recruitment System (ORS).
The ORS application must be completed and submitted = all steps must be green.
You must attach your recent photograph. The photo requirements are described in the application.
3. Before entering the list of test takers, the Admission Board requires the following scans in the application uploaded under the Documents tab:
A. School leaving certificate (or diploma with transcript). Subject grades must be visible.
Predicted grades are required if you are in your final year of school.
B. Passport scan OR Polish identity card (Only Polish citizens).
You will receive an email if your documents need to be completed.
Please note: The Admission Board considers only paid applications.
4. The payment (application fee) should be posted to the candidate's account no later than 7 days before the competency test session.
You cannot take the competency test if the payment is not credited to your ORS account.
5. During the week before the competency test (Monday-Wednesday), you will receive an information email. Please read all attachments carefully.
6. An email from the Exam Platform will be sent on Wednesday during the week before the competency test.
You will receive links to the trial and competency tests.
A. The trial test is open just after you receive an email and will be available until the date of passing the competency test. Please do it and familiarise yourself with test navigation. This test is not graded.
B. The competency test is available on a specific date for several hours. The hours are displayed in your time zone.
You do not need to inform anyone about the time you wish to take the test. You choose your own exact time for writing the test. You must start writing the test within the hours specified in the email.
Notes on the last test session
The last day to register in the ORS and open an application is June 30, 2026.
The last day to register for the competency test session is July 01, 2026.
The payment for this competency test has to be booked on your ORS account by July 01, 2026 at the latest.
Failure to have your payment booked by July 01, 2026 will result in your inability to sit the competency test.
International transfers often take several days.
Therefore, please upload proof of payment to your ORS account ASAP and email it to the Admission Board (support@wum.edu.pl).
